Pierre Maurisso is invited to London's Italian River Café to celebrate the 1 year move

Hammersmith's notorious yet famous institution, The River Café was kind enough to welcome managing partner, Jake Crocker on his 15th Birthday along with his parents.

The brand saw this as a complimentary excuse to celebrate its 1 year move from Saint Tropez to West London.

"Despite the simplicity of the the food, it was of excellence" quotes Jake to the one and only Ruth Rodgers, 73 year old baroness whom owns, runs and still cooks at the michelin star restaurant.

"In a gust of wind she vanished into a black cab" Jake continues on the way back home. He and his parents cannot believe that they have been exposed to the luxury of living opposite this place of wonder and discovery for over a year and have not yet attended a dinner there. "It's really a place to go on an occasion" explains Mona, CEO of the company and mother to Jake.

The experience was described as delightful and is somehow one of the few places in the city of London to prioritise a great meal!

Jake couldn't help but notice the 'people' that attended the restaurant. Their dress-sense, their mannerisms and their personality. "The people surrounding me were stylish and un-conservative, they were artists" he explains before making the statement that this place had no business with the corporate industry, it only had room for the creatives.
